Molly Baker serves as Project Interior Designer, Senior Associate at Perkins&Will in Seattle.  Over the past 10 years, she has had the privilege to work with incredible teams on a broad range of project types and sizes. Her focuses are interior architecture and interior design. She enjoys working closely with clients, architects and consultants to create unified spaces driven by holistic concepts. 

Molly’s experience spans corporate headquarters, institutions, healthcare and residential. Her skills include programming, conceptual design, schematic design, documentation, presentations, finish selection, furniture procurement and client relationships. 

Molly thrives in creative environments where ideas are shared and challenges become opportunities.

John Cialone, a nationally-recognized interior designer, leads a team of more than 20 professionals while managing operations at Chicago-based Tom Stringer Design Partners. As a partner and vice president of his firm, John’s enthusiasm for promoting the interior design industry is contagious. With over 25 years of experience, his work has been recognized with many awards and widely published.  

John is a member of the Guild Board for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago and a member of the Leaders of Design Council. He has served as a public speaker to many organizations and has mentored students across the country. John has participated in the 1+ Program, donating his firm’s services and aligning his belief that Design Impacts Lives” with the firm’s work. John also serves on the ASID National Board of Directors. 

Deborah Lloyd Forrest, FASID

Deborah Lloyd Forrest, who founded ForrestPerkins in 1998, is an award-winning leader in hospitality design. Her expertise lies in imagining and realizing the design of highly detailed places that resonate with guests.   

A Fellow of ASID and its 2004 Designer of Distinction, Deborah is also a member of Hospitality Design magazine’s Platinum Circle. Her work has been featured in a number of highly respected publications. She is a sought-after speaker on design and management and has authored numerous articles related to hospitality design, design management and ethics. 

In 2016, ForrestPerkins merged with Perkins Eastman Architects, retaining the name and brand with offices in Dallas, Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Deborah is Principal of Perkins Eastman and a member of its Board. 

Xie Xin, Allied ASID

A native of Shanghai China, Xie Xin holds a bachelor’s in Architecture Design from the China Academy of Fine Arts and a Master of Science in Healthcare Environments from Virginia Tech. Xie is currently an interior healthcare designer with the New York office of Perkins&Will where she has been involved is developing exceptional healthcare environments in the United States, China, the Middle East and the United Kingdom. She has taken a central role as client liaison and in-house consultant for the office’s China projects and has become a valuable resource to the firm.

Jennifer has spent 20 years covering interior design, furnishings, and more for magazines in New York, Los Angeles, and now Washington, D.C., where she serves as Editor-in-Chief of i+D, the magazine for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and Interior Designers of Canada (IDC). i+D was named an Honorable Mention for Overall Editorial Excellence in the 2019 Folio magazine awards.

Her work has appeared in various publications, including Luxe Interiors + Design, Western Interiors + Design, FORM, and ASPIRE Design & Home, as well as on Houzz.com and About.com, where she served as Home Furnishings Expert. Prior to working at ASID National headquarters, she served on the Board of Directors for the ASID New York Metro chapter and also as editor of both the New York Metro and New Jersey chapter magazines.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Drexel University and has taken assorted design classes covering theory, practice, and history, at Parsons School of Design, New York University, and Sotheby's Institute of Art.
