Matthew De Geeter, ASID, Vice President, Education and Engagement, joined headquarters staff at the American Society of Interior Designers in 2013, bringing his background as a professional interior designer at a top-tier, international firm and as a past student, chapter, and national volunteer leader of ASID to develop meaningful experiences. Matthew delivers the value proposition of engaging with ASID through on-demand and live learning opportunities, award programs, and member benefits by mapping together the perspectives of audiences including students, educators, practitioners, and partners. The portfolio of ASID programs are positioned to build individual’s skills, celebrate the positive impact of design, and support business needs.  

Kari Stringfellow

Vice President, Member Experience

As vice president, Member Experience, Kari leads the ASID Education, Student and Chapter teams, creating relevant member communities, cultivating forward-thinking learning experiences and member engagement, and working to improve both the ASID member and chapter experiences.

With more than 20 years of experience as a facilitator, coach, consultant, and association leader, Kari is dedicated to managing the strategic intersection of learning experiences and member engagement. Her experience leading organizational training and development initiatives includes Fortune 500 companies, higher education institutions, and non-profits, like Estee Lauder Companies, George Mason University, and the National Automobile Dealers Association. She is most passionate about creating relevant, forward-thinking, and innovative initiatives that not only meet the needs of the industry today, but where they need to be prepared to go tomorrow. 

Toni Gocke Wyre, FASID, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, WELL AP

Clinical Instructor of Interior Design, University of Central Arkansas

Chair-elect, FY22 ASID National Board of Directors

Toni Gocke Wyre is a commercial interior designer specializing in education, healthcare, and corporate interiors and was recognized as one of Arkansas Business' Top 40 under 40 Professionals in 2013. Over the last decade, her work has received over 36 regional design awards, crossing all sectors, from residential and corporate to hospitality, healthcare, and education. In July of 2018, she was selected to be an International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) Global WELL concept advisor after being the first in Arkansas to achieve her WELL AP accreditation. In the Fall of 2020, Toni transitioned to a part-time/consultant role with Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects and joined UCA, The University of Central Arkansas, as a full-time instructor of interior design in their CIDA-accredited program.
