Teams Work! Engaging Your Members Through Committees (Illinois)

Back to Package

Leverage the power of your community through committees.

There was an “aha moment” when the Illinois chapter board found themselves burnt out from doing all the work of the chapter, including events' management. Of course the board will end up doing all the work if they don’t provide other volunteers with “on ramps” to get involved and take on new responsibilities. This epiphany led to the creation of a more effective chapter committee structure, incorporating new systems for operations and accountability to form nineteen active committees. Learn how your chapter can strengthen its committee structure to more effectively delegate the work of the chapter and build your volunteer leadership pipeline in the process.
