Camia is a Georgia native and a graduate from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design and a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish. Her love for travel and culture has been instrumental in the development of her design aesthetic. She began her design career working in Costa Rica on relief and development projects, which then led her to New York City where she continued her philanthropic efforts through design and construction for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Camia has spent the last several years working for high-end design firms and under the tutelage of design guru Elaine Griffin. She lives by the motto that everyone can achieve good design, regardless of budget, and it should be creative, resourceful, and timeless. 

Aaron Rask Codden, ASID, AIA, NCARB, SCCID, NCIDQ, WELL AP, LEED Green Assoc

Architect + Interior Designer, Adjunct Instructor

GSBS Architects

Aaron is a highly motivated, sustainability-focused architect and interior designer in Salt Lake City. His work focuses on both new construction and historic rehabilitation for national and state parks. Typologies include visitor centers, ranger stations, kiosks, and park ranger housing. In addition, Aaron is also an experienced graphic designer and highly skilled in brand development and management. Although trained as an architect, Aaron earned his NCIDQ Certification in June of 2021 to better prepare him for a leadership role in the future, operating a firm that is able to offer seamless interior design and architectural services. He is a huge advocate for the interior design profession.

Mona holds an MFA in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design. She also has a BFA in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University and an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA. Prior to changing her career, she worked as a production designer for independent films. However, she made the leap to change her career because she wanted to design diverse and inclusive spaces that could directly impact communities and respond to our current economic and environmental pressures. 

Kimberly Woods (Moderator)

Director of Engagement

Council for Interior Design Education (CIDQ)

After previously serving as Data and Program Manager at CIDQ, Kimberly rejoined the organization in a new role as Director of Engagement. In this position, she works on outreach and engagement with a number of stakeholders, including students, educators, member boards, and association chapters, among others. In addition, Kimberly supports the volunteer Ambassadors program, and provides support for CIDQ’s Board of Directors, CEO, and other office staff. Prior to CIDQ, Kimberly worked for an energy consulting company in Ohio. Kimberly received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Loyola University Maryland, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global Studies from the University of Toledo.
